Floors are made using 11mm OSB boards raised by approximately 40mm from the ground
All framework is made using tanalised timber
12mm shiplap cladding
Buildings are fixed using premium grade wood screws
Buildings are vented in both gable ends using 50mm round plastic vents
Water based treatments - Dark Oak & Forest Green
Oil based treatments - Dark Brown, Light Brown & Clear
The tortoise house has a rubber EDPM roof covering and is hinged for easy access. The building is separated into 2 sections - Day area/Bed area. There is a large Perspex window to the front of the building with an access door for the tortoise being approximately 20cm. This tortoise house has the option of being fully insulated if required
Insulation is 25mm Kingspan and lined with 6mm plywood
